First FlexSA Liverpool Event
The Flexible Space Association was in Liverpool at the end of last week, the latest city that we’ve visited for the first time in 2024.
We brought together people working at FlexSA member companies in the region at workspaces on a sunny day by the Albert Docks. We held a Roundtable Meeting at Clockwise, in a historic building which has been sensitively adapted to provide offices, meeting rooms and coworking space.
The group discussed a wide range of industry issues, and as has been the case in other cities FlexSA has visited in recent weeks and months attendees reported an increase in the days clients are spending in workspace, either through choice or because businesses are seeing the value in staff working together and mandating an increase in the number of days in the office.
The group also discussed a growing interest in podcast studios (a topic FlexSA will be hosting a webinar on soon), the diversity of businesses using flexible workspace and grants for energy efficiency projects.
After a tour of Clockwise, the group headed to nearby Avenue HQ. They are based in a modern building, so a contrast to Clockwise, and are working in partnership with Barclays Eagle Labs to deliver workspace and services.
Following a Roundtable Meeting in London tomorrow, we’ll be heading to Manchester for our final one of the year next month.
