2024 Award Winners: Holler Technology
The winner of the 2024 Flexible Space Association Technology Initiative Award was Holler Technology.
This award recognised excellence in delivering new technology-driven projects which were smoothly implemented and delivered clear benefits to customers or to the running of workspace. There were a record number of entries for the technology award, recognising the importance this plays in the running of flexible workspace, and customer experience.
Holler Technology’s entry set out the work they undertook following BizSpace’s acquisition of a 67-acre business park in early 2024. They supported the flexible workspace operator to expand their connectivity options, and improve and expand coverage of access control and CCTV solutions on the site.
Holler already had knowledge of the site through the relationship with the flexible space operator based on the business park but now the remit was to look at the entire 67-acre estate and design an integrated and all-encompassing solution to improve the connectivity and security of the site. BizSpace were new to technologies such as Facial Recognition Access Control and AI-powered CCTV but immediately recognised the benefits the technology would bring to their business and how they would be able to, on-site and remotely, support the 100 companies and 1,500 people based there.
Access control and CCTV used to be two distinct technologies but now they are integrated and become part of the IoT (Internet of Things) ecosystem. Holler took the latest functionality offered by Facial Recognitiion Access Control, AI-powered CCTV and ANPR camera technology to design an innovative and comprehensive solution that was reliable, scalable and easy to manage.
Holler Technology’s CEO, Richard Burbage, commented: “This award is a welcome endorsement of everything that Holler stands for and tries to achieve through the solutions we supply and the way we support our customers. It’s for everyone of our staff and makes us collectively feel very proud. A big thank you to FlexSA and members of the awards judging panel.”
