2024 Award Winners: Hope Park Workspaces

It was the second year that the Flexible Space Association’s Awards included a category for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives, and the winner this year was Hope Park Workspaces.

It was once again a popular category for entries, with some fantastic examples of the good work being done in this area by flexible workspaces.

Hope Park Workspaces was created by Transforming Lives for Good as a sustainable income stream to support the work of the charity with unrestricted funding.  As a flexible workspace operator, they are also passionate about helping businesses grow by providing excellent Grade A flexible office space.

The charity provides one to one coaching in schools for struggling children, runs Make Lunch Clubs to provide assistance to struggling families in the school holidays with food insecurity, and offers Therapeutic and Trauma-Responsive Support, providing free training on Emotional First Aid to help people who work with children.

Hope Park Workspaces runs 3 workspaces in Bradford and Salford Quays, with the latter being their newest location and an EPC A rated building that runs purely on electricity.  They aim to also look after the environment by ensuring their workspaces run to optimum levels to reduce their carbon footprint.  In Bradford, Hope Park Workspaces have invested in solar panels to offset energy usage.

Michelle Johnson, Managing Director of Hope Park Workspaces, commented: “We are incredibly honoured to be chosen for the ESG award!   To the best of our knowledge, we are the only provider that dedicates 100% of its profits to supporting struggling children and families across the UK through the National Charity Transforming Lives for Good.

“This mission was the driving force behind my decision to take on this role, working for a cause that creates a lasting and positive impact on people’s lives.  Empowering others to succeed is at the heart of everything we do as a business. Thank you so much for this recognition—it means the world to us!”
