ESG Award Finalists Announced
The finalists for the Flexible Space Association Award for Environtmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Iniatives are announced today.
This award was introduced for the first time last year, and has once again proved to be a hotly contested category, demonstrating the wealth of ESG initiatives underway in the sector.
The award recognises initiatives which have delivered positive environmental or societal/community benefits, or highlights exemplary changes to governance processes. This award is sponsored by Clockwise.
The finalists are:
- Dock 3 – 5: An innovative managed workspace in Leicester’s Space City’s Enterprise Zone, and Leicestershire’s first net carbon zero development. The buildings are managed by Leicester City Council, and provide 45 offices and 9 industrial units across 46,000 sq ft.
- DeskLodge: Over the last 12 months, Bristol-based DeskLodge has successfully completed 2 important projects and goals, becoming an official B Corp business and accredited as a Living Wage Employer.
- Hope Park Workspaces: The workspace operator was created by Transforming Lives for Good as a sustainable income stream to support the work of this charity. A successful commercial business has been created, with all profits helping struggling children and families.
- Workspace Group: Leroy House, Workspace Group’s newly refurbished business centre in Islington, marks a significant milestone for the company as its first Net Zero building. It demonstrated how significant carbon emission reductions can be achieved through a ‘retrofit-first’ approach.
The winners of all the FlexSA Awards will be announced at the Flexible Space Association’s Annual Gala Dinner on Thursday 28th November.
