FlexSA in Southampton for the First Time

This week saw the Flexible Space Association’s first event in Southampton, with a Roundtable Meeting and Workspace Visit in the city.

A group from FlexSA member companies based in Southampton met at FigFlex Offices, where there was an impressive welcome with the FlexSA name literally in lights!

We had a good discussion on what’s happening in the local flexible workspace community.  We also talked about what makes for successful events for clients, the increased number of days people are spending in their offices and the challenges and opportunities of virtual office services.

Following a tour of FigFlex, it was then a short walk to Headspace Group’s building for a tour.   As well as private offices, it offers great communal space, including a well equipped kitchen (everyone was impressed with the coffee machine!) and meeting room.

It was interesting to see two very different styles of workspaces, demonstrating there’s something to suit every business need.

Next week we will be visiting another city for the first time, with a Roundtable Meeting and Workspace Visit in Liverpool on Thursday.
