FlexSA Roundtable Meeting and Workspace Visits in Manchester
The Flexible Space Association was in Manchester yesterday for a Roundtable Meeting and tours of flexible workspaces.
Flexible Space Association Executive Director Jane Sartin started the day with a visit to Hope Park Workspaces new location in Salford Quays, a short stroll from Media City. Hosting a mix of serviced offices, coworking space and meeting rooms, the site has great travel links into the city and to surrounding motorways.
The afternoon followed with the Roundtable Meeting, welcoming representatives from a number of of FlexSA member companies at Orega in King Street. A wide range of matters were discussed, including local market conditions, the popularity of part time offices, building communities through events and the use of meeting rooms on different days.
After a quick look round our hosting venue at Orega, including a rooftop terrace and business lounge, the group headed on for a tour of one of the more recent additions to the flexible workspace scene in the city – Cubo which is located in The Lincoln building.
With Cubo’s signature floor to ceiling glass, huge cosy sofas and beer and fizz on tap, they have created a great space for networking, socialising and their schedule of member events.
We finally headed to Landmark’s Chancery Place, where the modern design, abundance of plants and rich green walls has been topped up seasonally with springs of mistletoe and festive décor.
Thank you to our hosts at Orega, Cubo and Landmark for showing us their spaces, as our workspaces visits continue to be a welcome addition to our Roundtable meetings.
The Flexible Space Association will be back in the city in June for another Workspace Tour. Our Events Page will continue to be updated with in person and virtual events to keep FlexSA members connected throughout the year.
