London Roundtable Meeting and Workspace Visit
The latest in-person Roundtable Meeting for Flexible Space Association members took place in London yesterday, kindly hosted at Fora 50 Liverpool Street.
The meeting, hosted in the building’s largest boardroom, was well attended with representation from 13 member companies around the table.
Following an update from FlexSA’s Executive Director Jane Sartin on the activities of the Association, discussion followed touching on topics including technology in flexible workspace and the use of VR technology to visualise spaces to clients, through to occupancy trends and measures being taken to encourage clients to utilise quieter days in flex spaces.
The group enjoyed a quick tour of our hosting building led by Fora Building Manager Dani Moore, taking in the calm co-working space which overlooks the hustle and bustle of the adjacent Liverpool Street station. Following the meeting, the group endured a quick walk in the unseasonal July rain for a tour of the recently opened Huckletree Liverpool Street, ahead of their opening Broker event later that evening.
Huckletree’s Commercial Director Sophie Turnbull led the tour showcasing the design-led co-working and communal spaces, features such as the on-site Podcast Room and quirky ‘egg-style’ chairs in reception, all in keeping with Huckletree’s colourful playful signature style.
This meeting was the last of it’s kind before the summer break, but the Flexible Space Association will return again specifically to London for a Workspace Tour on Thursday 3rd October and, due to the level of interest in attending yesterday’s meeting, on Tuesday 19th November we are going to hold another London Roundtable Meeting.
