Milton Keynes Workspace Tour
The Flexible Space Association held another Workspace Tour yesterday, this time in Milton Keynes.
A group of FlexSA member companies visited four flexible workspace locations, all of whom are members of the Flexible Space Association.
Located predominantly around the city’s mainline rail station, the tour began at Spaces, where the sun shone as we explored the expansive rooftop terrace.
Next up was the recently opened Co-Space in Milton Keynes, occupying two floors of beautifully designed workspace which drew comments for it’s light and airy space and boutique hotel design touches.
Next as we got behind the scenes with hard hats and boots at the under-construction Unity Place. This major redevelopment of the eight floor space includes co-working partner x+why, with work well underway for 60,000sq.ft of flexible workspace on the second floor. It was really interesting to see a project in development, and understand how flex space will form just one part of the leisure and community offering here all with underpinned shared values.
Finally, to The Pinnacle by Landmark. Nestled between The Hub, a local hotspot for leisure and the station it’s one of two sites for Landmark in Milton Keynes. With a large lounge on the ground floor, it is no surprise events are a big theme here, and conversation around hosting events for clients to connect and network was a repeated theme in nearly all of the spaces visited.
After similar events in Birmingham ,Manchester and London this year it was nice to shine a light on a city that feels like a real area of new growth and interest for flexible workspace. The tour again highlighted the variation between different operators in terms of space and service within the local marketplace.
