Our latest Workspace Wisdom Webinar took place today, focussing on cyber security in flexible workspaces.
We were joined by FlexSA Member Wavenet Connected’s Ethical Hacker and Principal Consultant, Rob Shapland, who shared a real-life example of his work to test accessing a flexible workspace to obtain data and information.
Rob took us through the steps he had taken to test out accessing a workspace operator’s email and SharePoint files, and how he ‘stole’ a laptop from an office in the flexible workspace.
The webinar offered invaluable insights into possible areas of vulnerability in flexible workspaces, online and physical. Rob offered suggestions for some of the areas companies could look at to strengthen their security.
